Wax wraps are nothing new. In the lab, wraps made of paraffin were used to save our solutions for other use at another time.

Warm these in your hands to increase tackiness and use then to seal bowls, cups, snacks, sandwiches, anywhere plastic wrap would typically be used to store food. These are reusable and should last a few years. Wraps can be refreshed by warming them in the oven at 275 °F. The wax will redistribute and become tacky again. Wash by wiping down with warm, soapy water. Do not soak. Do not use in the microwave. At end of life, they can be used as rags or thrown in your compost bin.
